Texas Veterans Commission Grant Program

Sun Metro was awarded a grant by the Texas Veteran Commission to provide monthly bus passes and LIFT rides to eligible veterans, dependents, and surviving spouses. Due to the success of this program the available grant funds have been exhausted ahead of schedule. We are currently working diligently with the Texas Veteran Commission to secure additional funds for this program. We are hopeful that we will be able to receive additional grant funding to restart the program this summer. We will contact you once additional grant funding has been secured and the program has restarted.
