Sun Metro Rising is bringing Microtransit to Upper East El Paso!
Sun Metro's Microtransit pilot program—a part of Sun Metro Rising—is an on-demand rideshare service that provides trips within a designated service zone in El Paso. Service is operated using smaller-capacity vehicles and is designed to support convenient intra-community travel within the service area.
Microtransit provides service to designated pick-up and drop-off locations, known as Super Stops, near popular shopping plazas, schools, parks, and more within the service zone, as well as to the new William Beaumont ARMY Medical Center and the Upper East Transit Center on Rich Beem. At the Upper East Transit Center, riders can connect to Sun Metro’s fixed-route bus system for travel outside of the service area.
Riders can request trips in real time through the RIDE Sun Metro App, booking your ride online, or by calling 915.212.7433.
