Title VI Notice to the Public

Title VI of the Civil Rights of 1964 and related statutes prohibiting discrimination in federally assisted programs require that no person in the United States of America shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal assistance.

Any person who believes they have been harmed by an unlawful discriminatory practice regarding Sun Metro's programs has a right to file a formal complaint with Sun Metro. Any such complaint must be in writing and submitted to the Sun Metro Title VI Coordinator within one hundred eighty (180) days following the date of the alleged occurrence.

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)

The City of El Paso Mass Transit Department – Sun Metro announces its FY2024-2026 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Triennial Goal Methodology of 8.24% for Federal Transit Administration (FTA) projects. Sun Metro plans to satisfy this goal on our FTA-funded contracts with a 6.54% race-conscious component and a 1.7% race-neutral component.
